The firm’s Ipswich office has won a contract to provide insurance services for the Lloyds TSB Insurance travel account from February 2006.

Axa, one of the UK’s largest insurance groups, at present employs 400 people at its office in Civic Drive, Ipswich,

Andy Fairchild, Axa’s customer operations , said: “This is great news for the team in Ipswich.”

He added: “We will be looking to recruit over 100 new staff and be giving the opportunity to up-skill or take on more senior roles as we grow.”
